Why because i do not rate the guy . I have yet to see him control a game and for me he lacks everything required to be a quality player except a side step

The idea that Lolohea has been great since signing for Salford, is nonsense. He’s been better than he was for Leeds (not saying much) but every time I’ve seen him for Salford he’s been fairly average. His nomination for this award is laughable, either way.

This post is bang on the money.

All said golden boot is now basically an award for playing well in 2/3 test matches. It is supposed to signify the worlds best player or please just change the name to international player of the year and then we can end these arguments.

Yep. And he didn’t even play that well in the international matches he has played. He didn’t stand out or do anything of note. There are plenty of SL halves that have played better than him this season and there are 3 or 4 international halves who did more than him in the internationals.

It’s a bizarre nomination because people like the story attached to it not actually what is happening on the pitch.

Good luck to him, obviously didn't work out at Leeds but like anyone who leaves I want to see do well with maybe the exception of Zak Hardaker

Hardaker I hope turns his life around. Whilst he had the attitude he had at Leeds I didn’t want him to succeed. If he changes his attitude then good luck to him.

Same goes for Lolohea. If he puts professional effort into his condition and into contact then good luck to him. If his attitude remains similar to what it was at Leeds then I think there are lots and lots of other players at lots of other clubs deserving of praise and accolades before him.

As a Salford supporter I can put hand on heart and say his performances since he arrived have been very good. Effort and work rate have been on par with his colleagues, and he offered exactly the same as Lui did insomuch as he took the pressure off Hastings who was very much the organiser. Could play what he saw and provide last tackle options along with a very good kicking game. His role and playstyle was so similar to Lui that it's made Salford fans wonder at why the swap happened at all. We basically got a younger version of Lui. The only real difference being that Lui is stronger at running at the line, but Tui is way younger and less knackered. I don't expect Leeds fans to particularly agree, after all, their experience is different to ours. You got rid of a player that didn't fit, for an experienced pro. We got rid of a high wage earner at the end of his career for a younger version of him. Everyone's a winner in this circumstance.
