Because it's not a slight on your side, you are a good team. It's just that we're very, very poor. If you'd seen us more than just the once this season, you'd understand.

You are indeed a good team, better than what I was expecting although I haven't seen Quins play since last season. I thought both forwards & backs ran the ball in hard and you don't appear to have any real weaknesses in the team. However, looking at the tries we conceded on The Super League Show we were appalling in defence (stating the obvious I know ). Without taking anything away from Quins they didn't need to do much in attack to create the openings it was pretty much basic one on one tackling and poor positional play that let us down for virtually all the tries. Our defence has gone down the pan since '06 and we don't look like we can stop any team scoring if they get into our 20m area. The defensive line moves up far too slow allowing oppo's to get up a head of steam which puts us continually on the back foot. FWIW, I think Quins will finish top 8 this season and won't be far off top 6 as you've got some quality players (Dorn/Orr/Louis M-S to name a few) and not many teams will do a number on you.

Anybody go into the Willows after the match will have seen, different groups of players sat apart from each other in little cliques. Felt so sorry for Rob Parker who was sat on his own with a couple of the younger lads looking so forlorn, and why not every time he touched the ball he got booed, he did not ask to be named captain but he stepped up to the plate!!
Would like to see what would the spirt be like if malc was given the captaincy back?

I saw it and I appreciated it as I have done on the other occasions - can't recall it happening at any other ground in 12 years of doing all the away trips.

I enjoy the trip to Salford, from the feel of the ground, to the people I speak to and a friendly drink in the bar afterwards.

I hope your season picks up.
