See you've started me off again
Actually, most clubs have replica shirts, yearbooks and other merchandise. I've been in plenty of non-league club shops where they've had more sh*te on sale than FC.
They all have a website as well. Even in the North West Counties League clubs are seen as being behind the times if they don't have an up-to-date website.
The trips to Europe are always by invitation and are decided on by a number of criteria. One of which being if it's accessible to supporters or not. And non-league clubs playing abroad is nothing new, Cheadle Town were doing it decades ago. Other clubs still take the opportunity when they can.
And our "Chief Executive"... Well, alright, that is a bit different to most, but considering the size of the club and the amount of work needed to run it and keep it going, it's no surprise that we need a couple of members of full-time staff. It couldn't be run entirely by volunteers.
As for a personal MEN reporter, that's mainly because he goes to games as a supporter. The MEN still have coverage of other local non-league clubs.
Fans club... Owned by it's members. Major decisions taken by it's members. Members decide ticket prices. Members will have a say in the design of our own ground. Jesus, we even had a vote on whether or not to enter the FA Vase because there was a chance we could have televised games.
I can start you off on this as often as you like, but you're still plodding out the same, tired old ignorant nonsense that's been doing the rounds since day one. The sort of stuff perpetuated by people who want to be cool and those who have something to gain out of United (Steve Black, Tony ON, Pete Boyle, that odious turd Tufty...)
Right, that's me done for the season. Let's just concentrate on United chasing down that 18th title, shall we?
