As a neutral who didn't watch the match and knows nothing about any trouble, all I'd say is that Castleford were the tonked team last year as it was they who were just promoted. They still managed to upset the 'big teams' but their wins were few and far between. It's just like that when first promoted. It'll take time for your team to get up to speed, probably all season. But towards the end of last season Cas was coming together as a team and although they've virtually replaced the whole lot, they have already won two games this season.

It's hard to see now that things will get better but they will. There will be tonkings, there are for all teams sometimes but especially when the team is new to the league which is a big jump up from the Championship. Keep on supporting your lads and over time things will start to get better.

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

As a Cas fan I'd 2nd that.

After watching Salford on SKY in the opening round I thought you looked a well drilled team that will win their fair share of games this season.

As said above, you'll produce good performances and probably turn over one or two of the big boys at home but it's consistency that'll you'll probably be lacking in your 1st season, especially on the road.

Cas only won 2 games away from home last season and in all honesty I'd accept that in your first season back in the top flight.

I couldnt believe what i saw, why throw objects at the players?
The flares looked good as the teams entered the field but again to throw them onto the playing surface towards any player is a disgrace. IMO i feel the culprits should be identified and the club take the correct action and give them a decent ban from our game.
As for the flares, should'nt these be banned from grounds?

Finally...dont be too harsh on your team, we were in the same boat last season. Give the club time to build and come back stronger next season.
If Cas have got the Bloke who through the flair on camara and ther police get involved he can expect to do some Bird.
A Sheffield UTD fan did the same thing a few years back and got 3 years and know of other fans getting the same sort of sentence.
