i would back macrae over the players, otherwise they will act up every time they fall out with a coach.
macrae should start by getting rid of fitzpatrick.

Unfortunately I think I have to agree with you as this all seems very much like deja vu ie as in the Karl Harrison and Jimmy Lowes era. Talk was going round then of players not happy with the coach, not playing as a team etc etc.
All we will succeed in doing if we sack the coach again is telling these players that every time something happens they dont like all they have to do is throw a tantrum and they will get there own way.

If you have a small child who for example wants an ice cream and you say no what do you do if they throw a tantrum do you give in or stick to your guns. My experience is you stick to your guns or the message you give out is that its okay to throw tantrums because then they will get their own way.

Children learn that throwing tantrums is not the answer so why cant grown men .

Its time they were made to realise whoever they are that no one is bigger than Salford Rugby Club.
