So the rent will be too high for Sale , but affordable for you ?

You need to realise the more income the stadium can generate the less it will cost SCR to play there

Talking to a Sale fan, he believes that talks were back on as the rent was the only thing stopping them from moving in.

Call me a skeptic (or even doom monger!) but I still have the niggling feeling if Sale end up moving in, if things dont improve off/on field in the grand scale Simms et al are predicting in the press, that within 5 years we will be 'Manchester RL/RU'....maybe not even that long!

i'd rather a football reserves play there rather than Sale.

I hear Salford pay 1mil a year at barton but isnt that to pay back the loan to the council? sounds alot but its 500k at the willows.

who does the stadium belong to?

Keep the stadium for rugby not football, there is more than enough coverage for it in Manchester and not enough for rugby.
