I think the home end is the east shed. If this is right it does mean we'll get the worst of the weather (prevailing westerlies). But my glass is still half full, looking forward to next season.

I have seats in the west stand so it cant be the east shed, do you mean the north stand near the motorway or the south stand near the training pitches

Thanks Z46, yes you are right, the end will therefore be designated as the North. But as I said before it's aligned towards the northeast and will catch the worst of the weather. If I had a choice I'd pick the South as the home end.

were you not at Leigh a couple of seasons back when the mighty red fans nearly built an Ark it rained so much.

I was there and boy did we get wet. At half time the reds fans moved to the other end which was blocked at first. Eventually the stewards opened up. I was wearing a ski top but was soaked to the skin..Great win though

Quality away. Remember getting back to a pub in Stoke with a coal fire. 4 heads all camped around it meant we were getting some bizarre looks from the regulars.
