It's definitely a better pub crawl than the one to the willows. Start at the packet house on patrcroft bridge and their must be 15 pubs in the mile or so to where the new ground is - several Holts' and at least half of them decent boozers (or at least used to be when i lived round that way)

Theres a few decent holts just before Patricroft bridge though

We should get the Weatherspoons in Eccles renamed in honour of Wilky and make that the regular pre match haunt, good cheap beer, half decent food and the bus and tram stop right outside.

Yes thats right, it will take approximately 6 months to clear, level and treat the contaminated land and then 14 months to build it.

That is cutting things very very fine, do we know if all the other facilities around the ground are being built at the same time or is the ground the priority and then the sundries when they have finished. Does anyone know if the access road they are bulding at the fork in the A57 just Warrington bound side of Macro is anything to do with the construction or is that for the container/port development?.

But Bigpev just remind people who called the stadium plans in for a public enquiry,
lets see now, he had some mock tudor columns built at his home in Hull at our expense, he is assisting Hull KR at present oh and he had a slight problem with his secretary whilst we were paying for their night out while our stadium was held up for months and it landed the Red City team with a hefty bill.

Good to see you're getting a LSV stadium , seriously I hope it works out for you better than us , I did notice that it is to be a ' community ' stadium
