 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

But on the other hand, we were looking very shaky up until a few short weeks ago. We should be VERY cautious about resting on our laurels. They'll be desperate to do the double on us and they know they're somewhat of a bogey team for us. So, we definitely need to step it up regardless of what went on the week before. Last weeks effort won last weeks prize... What next?

I'm wi' you fella.

They'll be stinging after today's spanking and will see us as a chance to put it right.

Knowing our lot we'll stroll into the game expecting to walk all over them ... only to be handed our ar.ses on a plate?!

Correct Adam. We have basically been Crusaders' Super League b1tches since gaining promotion alongside them. There's no team in Super League I would love to leather more than this lot. How many times have we failed to deliver against mediocre opposition who appear to play with so much freedom when playing us?

Red Men, be warned, drop your intensity and Crusaders will beat us. If anything, our intensity needs to increase yet further. If it does I reckon we'll be in a for a cracker of a night. 3 wins on the bounce, wow. Can't remember that happening in Super League! COME ON RED MEN... STEP IT UP TO ANOTHER LEVEL!

(We're kinda owed one for the Millenium Magic debacle. ;))

Happened in 2006 :D

round7 Catalans 22 V 28 Salford
round8 Salford 36 V 18 Huddersfield
round9 Warrington 6 V 22 Salford

3 wins over Warrington that season

We won our opening 5 games in 1997 (iirc: Cas, PSG, Oldham, Sheffield and Halifax) before losing to Saints

First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.

I agree with your post this fixture is a banana skin waiting to happen if the lads give it anything less than what they gave against Hull KR and Catalans. One things for sure we look a lot sharper and much more confident now than we did in Cardiff.

The big differences recently is that our defence has really tightened up and we are actually playing some good attacking rugby rather than just predictably driving the ball in and kicking on the last. For me we have a lot more players now asking a lot more questions and there is definately more points in this Salford team compared to last year. The key is working extremely hard as a team and maintaining the strong defence we have seen in the previous two games. Do this again Saturday and I'm sure the result will take care of itself.

COME ON SALFORD . . They made us look very poor at Millenium Magic and it's payback time in front of those TV camera's.

Agree with theredshed.

Nothing but 100% will do! And also think the defence is definatley tightening up. watched the highlight of the catalans game and the defence looked very impressive!

what ever is happening in training it is working. I also tend to think that maybe the team is starting to gel and starting to want to play for each other, rather than just play on the same team as each other (if you get me drift).

lets try and get as many down to the willows as possible!

All season ticket holders should be given 2 'guest passes' per season.
All 'Freebies' should have to gain entry by purchasing a Programme - Then at least we get some money and they have some info' about the Team they are watching.
School kids could be given a ticket - Free admission, must be accompanied by an adult (£10)

If Salford play like the last couple of games, I don't begrudge £20, in fact it's money well spent. The dire product that was being served up at the start of the season, meant getting out of the chaiir to go was an effort, never mind £20. It's all about effort and entertaining rugby, not necessarily winning.

I think we'll give the CRUSADERS a good tonking. COME ON YOU REDS!!!!
