Another game called off for FC yesterday. Although it did give me a chance to watch United, whether that was a good thing in the end is up for debate...

Hopefully the next game is at home to Marine on Saturday.

Salford City tonight announced the departure of Manager Ash Berry by mutual consent after only nine games in charge with poor performances and a lack of overall improvement being cited as the reasons for his departure. I can agree with the statement but would also add the lack of discipline both on and off the pitch as well as his part time involvement with Huddersfield Town FC which restricted the amount of time he could devote to the Ammies as contributory factors in my opinion.

Next game at home to Woodley Sports in the league ko 3:00 pm on Saturday 20th December.

Despite the 3-2 home defeat to Woodley the Ammies turned in a far more encouraging performance and with a little composure might well have nicked a last minute equaliser. With the departure of most of the recent Yorkshire based contingent it is the management's intention to put the focus back on more locally based talent in order to try and improve club morale and results.

Next game is away at Trafford on Boxing Day ko 3:00pm. Won there on the last two league visits!!

Marine players celebrated their first goal by doing aeroplane impressions. Classy.
