Yes you can theoretically do that but i don't think Buckingham's are going to hire 100's of people with burco boilers ready to mix cement do you? the stadium base will be laid by industrial concrete mixing lorries and silo's all with cold water,

although was going through some of my suppliers today and found these guys? wonder if Buckingham's could use a product to the same spec as this?

Pouring concrete ? I know it depends on the land to some degree but surely a stadium would require land Piling before any sort of concrete was simply poured ?

Salford City Council (building inspector) insisted after planning permission was granted my extention be piled before building could take place, I had to have eleven piles installed at an additional 25% add on to the original price of my build. :DEPRESSED:

Im sure the piling has already been done? I went past a few week ago and saw numurous concrete squares plotted about where the stadium will be situated.

Those concrete squares will be going a fare few foot under the ground and will act as giant stilts to make sure the stadium doesn't sink or collapse.

I did work on the LSV i'll have you know.
Its not just stadium's which adopt this method but any big structures like the Beetham tower in manchester or the M.E.N arena. Or the most impressive of all hong kong airport which involved extending the coastline and abit dfferently but same idea had giant steel pillers bolted to the sea bed which included a man made island constructed on top of it, Which was the actual base for the new airport.

Engineering has come so far over the last hundred years.

You sure ? when my estate was built there was a massive rig on site to install the piles, (thats for houses) now all I've seen is the land being leveled. You'd hear and see piling on a site like that from quite a long way off.

It was Stonehenge. And all the way through we had this nutter called Starbugge running up every day telling us it was all a con to trick UNESCO (whatever that was) into making it a World Heritage Site, and how it was never going to get built.
