At the very end of the site, just before the layby rejoins the A57, you'll see a White wooden fence - go through the opening, and follow the footpath for approximately 100 metres. The footpath rises, and the high wooden fence on your left dips down, so you get a half decent view into the site. Not ideal, but the best I have found.

Heres an interesting web site that will come in handy when your new ground is built http://www.walkjogrun.net/ Its designed for runners to map out jogging routes and work out how far they are running, however its equally usefull for working out how far you are from the nearest pub when the new ground is built. Ive checked out if its feasible to park on the trafford centre then walk to your new ground. Its around 1.6 miles which takes about 35 to 40 mins. So doable though not ideal. Wonder if the club and Trafford centre will do a deal with Salford re running shuttle buses to and from the ground back to the Trafford centre. The aim being to get fans shopping and drinking athte TC pre or post match.

OK, couple of the stadium site from today (sorry about the quality):- First one is the full site- Next one is another of the full site- Third is a close up of one of the piling rigs- And final one, taken at the Wigan friendly on Sunday - and quite apt, I believe - is the sun setting over The Willows (I'm gonna miss that place!)-

Your stadium looks more advanced than ours because you can actually see all the round concrete piles.

Also interesting your piles are concrete, whereas the ones at Saints new stadium are not.

Ours seems to be using Vibro piles, this basically consists of a massive vibrator that makes the earth move, then injects material into the large gash, to create a genuine hardcore experience.

that sounds painfull, I hope that material that they inject into the large gash only makes one stadium.

Steel will arrive on site next saturday i am told and will start being erected the following monday.
