A few absentees expected Monday

Ithink Murray could be in to replace the concussed Griffin, BMB apparently wont be going - unsure about Todd & Jeff Jones.

Murray will do a sound job for you guys. We missed him badly last night, risk you run with having a few loan players. Hope we get him back after easter but have a feeling he will do enough to keep in and around the team. very determined young man

Assuming you mean BMM and Josh Jones EB? And whqt's upcwith Todd Carney? Assume it must be an injury picked up in training? Scrappy game and performance yesterday but thankfully we nicked the 2 points. To be fair to Leigh they defended really well but we looked a little flat in attack so it didn't make for a classic. Our kicking game won us the game 2nd half where we dominated territorially after conditions deteriorated.

Catalans are down on numbers so a good chance for us to pick another win up on Monday. Hopefully we can still put a strong 17 out and keep the momentum we've built. We could have done with an easier cup draw next week as would have been an ideal time to rest a few players but drawing Toronto means we'll probably have to still play a strong side.

Didn't seem like many picked up knocks yesterday but you can never tell, should have ample back up though?

LOL Mr Slim - I know why I called him Jeff - First its an age thing and will affect you one day & Second - we were having a chat about Cricket & the Aussies - remember Simon Jones a few years back? - Well his Dad was Jeff Jones - A Left arm quickie - a fact I didnt know tbh.

Dobson brilliant yesterday yet again - pure class he is but we were struggling to deal with Leigh`s spotting tactics and lying on.

I wasn`t aware that the Dragons were too short as Gigot is back & Walsh/Myler combo nearly matches ours. Yes Ben won`t be travelling and unsure about Todd & Jonah had lumps of ice on his leg so he may be out. Chances for Lannon & Murray maybe. I for one would play Krasniqi instead of Wood as he can pass a ball flat from dummy half. Wood sadly is Championship class just now.

Certainly do remember Simon Jones, great bowler on his day and sad his career was blighted by injury. Being a mere spring chicken at 39 afraid I can't recall his old man tho.

As for our 17 on Monday, agree that young Wood shouldn't be in there. Really struggled yesterday and while he may well improve with time he's physically weak and definitely not worth a spot at the minute. Lannon, Murray and Krasniqi (have been pleasantly surprised by him this year) could all well get a spot. Still haven't seen Murray play so hopefully he'll be up to it. Am I right in thinking he's around '6ft 5? Hopefully he'll make more of an impact than Haggerty's brother who I assume is now plodding around in the championship/league 1?

As for Evalds.... what the hell is going on there? Has he fallen out with the gaffer? Yes he has his weaknesses but he's a proven try scorer and with his versatility he can cover 4 or 5 positions easily. I'd have him on the bench as cover for Tomkins as he'd cause mayhem scooting from dummy half against tiring Catalans forwards and be able to slot into the halves if either Dobbo or Lui pick up a knock or need a rest.

Hello Reds. The Dragons have been missing Bird ,Baitieri Broughton and /Burgess for some time . Bird is crucial. On Monday Horo returns ,But our left centre Wiliame is injured. This probably means that our rather poor left side backs Duport and Yaha will play. Prsonally I woul keep Duport on the wing so that he has not got to try to think so much and put one of our second rows in the centre . The spine of our team is outstanding ,but too many of our forwards are overrated.The extra 2 days rest shou ld help us . Well done so far this season

Agree with Evalds - deserves a spot on the bench but although a great finisher he is not a link player and that is how Watto is developing the squad. Great to watch and we must offer Lui a contract as he gets everyone moving.

Mr Catsanglais - thank you for the news as Williams is a good centre indeed but from our point of view the omission of Bird is a good thing as he rattles everyone. Not bothered about Burgess as he is exceedingly mediocre.

Will Todd Carney play? I rated him very highly ,but he was always injured.My view of our recent 2 wins is that we were much the same ,but our opponents were weaker and, frankly, stupider . However we will be more confident and will at last have hot weather.

Hello again.I thought you the first half was v. close and that our 2 days extra rest was crucial.Our defence was the best I have seen for a very long time.I have never seen Todd Carney play so badly.He looked uninterested and unfit.Good luck-We are playing you again quite soon
