I am a big fan of Hayes and wish him all the best with a speedy recovery. But I have to say that I quite like Drinkwater. Even the couple of games he played earlier in the season before he picked up a knock and Hayes took that spot I thought he was pretty good.
The bit that I am impressed with the most is his passing accuracy. He is not usually the player that throws the money ball assist but he is usually passing the ball to Williams/ Dufty but it shouldn't be underestimated how important it is to make sure that passes is on the button. It gives time to those players to make sure their pass is the killer ball.
I think Drinkwater played in round 2&3 and from memory those games were quite fruitful for King and Ashton on that left edge similar to Thursday night against Hull KR.
He may not do the flashy stuff like Sandow or Austin but I think he is doing a decent job.

I hope Jordy Crowther got a big pat on the back from not only those on the field but the coaching staff too for that tackle on Lewis. You watch him every game, he goes in on every kicker, and not just to scare or put them off, but to actually bring them down before they're able to get it away. He finally got his reward for all those efforts.

Haha, people taking comments out of context, well I've never seen the like! What I actually said was, Thewlis ACTS like a mard, and it wins us penalties. It's that simple. He obviously is not one, he plays Rugby League. He has to have a level of toughness to survive and thrive.

I have watched the game back a few times now and Josh Thewlis was outstanding in defence and attack, especially defence, his best game yet in a Warrington shirt for me and deservedly got the MOM.
