The game has now been re-scheduled to be played on Saturday 7th September with a 15-00 Hrs after being chosen to be a Sky Live Televised game, and will not be played on. Friday 6th September. Indeed Boss, following the success v Huddersfield in the Cup I bought tickets yesterday for the Rico grandkids, their first home game with the promise of a full house under the floodlights, a Friday treat after their return to school.

The switch to Saturday is probably easier in terms of avoiding a late night BUT that we are all available is a matter of plain good luck. The lads especially have plenty of weekend activities.

Having said that they are as keen as mustard and I'm hoping their winning streak continues

Wire v Saints is not exactly a surprise pick, so I'm sure the call could have been made much, much earlier.

We took the Sly (sic) dollar, decades ago, and we're at their whim when it comes to fixture changes.
It piddles on my chips, but it's not about me.

I still pine for Sundays at 3
