Just want to say well done on developing this kid. He was very impressive tonight. Good speed, backed up his collegues very well, good kicking game and appears (apart from last penalty) to be a promising goal kicker. Is he in the England knights team? Definitely a pleasure to watch.

With us being the better side these days, we are licking our lips at inflicting more misery on Wire in the coming derby. I expect a fairly straight forward win.

Didnt hear MOM but he was certainly my choice. Read somewhere he was seen as a long term replacement for Lee Briers, well at just 20 with a performance like that he's definitely going to be promising and a great replacement.

That's what I hear, too. They are big shoes to fill, but given another season or two I think he'll be plenty 'seasonsed'. His conversion ability is terrific, too, so no worries about having to leave the kicking details to Westwood once The Hodge is gone .

True. I guess I just see that as a given, though. He was very 'keen' tonight, it must be said, would have liked to see one of his intercept attempts coming off.
Massive potential, but no way was he MOM. Briers ran the show the first half.
Yeah but to be honest that's expected of briers. O'brien wasn't expected to shine like he did. And certainly stepped up and stood out. Can't argue with MOM at all.
O'Brien was much better last night. I've been cautiously impressed with him up to now but expressed concerns that he hasn't been doing enough in a game. Yesterday he had been clearly told to up his involvement (and partnership with Briers) and he certainly showed what he is capable of.
Great performance from him. He's got good speed too,the fact he could slow down in a breakaway and play Riley in for a try. Looks like he's been playing with briers for years.
