Yes, once put in the clear he is quick, and unlikely to be caught, but it will be more than likely the work of the centre or some other player that has gained Penny the space.

Watch as he returns the ball from his own line from an opposition kick....the fellow just runs meekly into the arms of opposing tacklers, no attempt made to actually beat the defence.
