Can't get the link to Sky Sports but the following is a quote from Sporting Life from the same news conference.
"I've got a message for the fans who step over the line," he said. "The fans who abused me on Friday night, I'm not going to stand for that.
"I think it's out of order and I won't accept that from anyone, no matter how good or bad we're going as a team.
What's he going to do? I interpret that as actually taking action should anyone have the temerity to criticise him.
It's only a matter of time before he has a physical altercation with a fan.
Christ, he's making me madder and madder.
Am I the only one who's started checking the sport/news websites more frequently in the hope he's been given the boot?
I've seen some rubbish served up by Warrington teams over the decades but no squad has performed so consistently far below their potential than this one and I've never before wished for a coach to be sacked (except Steve Anderson - but that's a given).
The number of people that post/read on here is a significant minority of the overall fanbase, but I expect they're a fair cross-section. Can we not have a poll about Lowes's future? If nothing else, it will either prove that his level of support amongst spectators is as low as it appears to be - or that my dislike for him is purely personal and fast becoming bordering on pathological!
Nurse! Medication please...
