Nail on the head Geordie! There is a split within the club, the players that air on the side of professionalism and the players who simply do not. The problem we are facing is what our club itself, (and i dont mean the players), deems acceptable behaviour for a professional Rugby League player, is far from what other clubs would deem acceptable from their personnel. Until this is put right, Tony Smith will be fighting one hell of an uphill battle. Like it or like it not, Warrington are one of, if not the last Superleague clubs to fully embrace professional Rugby League, both on and off the field and it is frighteningly noticable this season above all others. There are huge decissions to be made this season, from top to bottom at Warrington and unfortunately its not going to be a quick fix, but there are a few people who need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror and ask themselves if the way they are going about their business, is truly whats right for the future of Warrington RLFC!!! If they can be totally honest with themselves, then either "put it right once and for all"......... Or simply leave, because we as fans dont want you here!!!!

You bet your life its "spot on", that is why Tony Smith is fighting one hell of a battle..... And not just against certain players, but against the culture that surrounds WWRLFC and what our club deems as acceptable behaviour by a professional sportsman/athlete. I for One wish you all the luck in the world Tony in the tough job ahead, you`re going to need everyone at our club pushing in the same direction to help sort this mess out, "but im not convinced that you are going to get the help you need from the people you would expect to give it to you"!!!

'WhatsIsFace' on GMR the other week emphasized that the club/board are 110% behind any decisions or changes that TS wants to make. I suspect that this week could be the first serious test of that statement.

"They'd butt each other like a pair of billy goats and would both look like a mess at the end of the game. I'd often see Billy an hour later sharing a beer with his rival, with both blokes sporting half a dozen stitches in their scones. They were a breed apart, fornt-rowers - blokes like Bluey were proof of that." Johnny Raper on Billy Wilson and other front rowers of the time

He is aiming to say that two players had an arguement in which the agressor got dropped. However he goes onto say it maybe a rumour he isn't sure. for further travelling friend translation just ask for my service ( i studied travelling friend at college before you say i am a travelling friend :P )
