Yeah agreed its a little harsh, he's asking questions to the club about issues currently doing the rounds on social media / other news outlets? Isn't that what we would want?

Mikaele gone and two injured it would be madness to let Philbin leave even for a short length of time. I wouldn’t let any of our forwards go at the minute but if I was choosing one it would be Dudson on current evidence.

I think Powell still sees him as our starting prop to be fair.

I'd guess if we were to go after Philbin, we'd offer Sao or Satae as part of a swap deal.

We could ask for Brad Fash instead of Satae or Sao. The only issue would be finding a suitable hairdresser, though he'd probably find plenty of barbers with vast experience cutting in this style if he travelled to our neighbours in St Helens.

Sao is a good player as shown by his second row exploits in The world cup for Samoa ...would offer some versatility like Harrison

We don’t need to let Philbin go and I don’t want us signing someone who take a quota place for the sake of it. I’d pass on both Hull players.
Anyone who comes in should strengthen us for at least 2 seasons.

Mate suggested we have bought a team to win the GF - why not? He pointed out that Powell allowed Cas to get old together. Most of our big men are over 30 now so we need to avoid the "age trap" after 2024. Short term ambition must not allow us to take our eyes off the ball.
