Well done on the Widdop signing, I've just mentioned that I'd of liked to see him at Huddersfield but tbf we have Frawley and Gaskell who'd be infront of him... fingers crossed they stay injury free and Frawley settles in or we might be trying to poach him off of ya's

Gaskell who played at centre 11 times, stand off 12 times and fullback twice last year. Jordan Turner was even preferred at stand off at times, some of them even when Gaskell was fit.



Frawley who got dropped to reserve grade for 7 weeks after the 2 opening games last year, he came back and they lost another 5 out of 6 and he got dropped again, then came back for the final 5 games with the Bulldogs season already over.

Hi all, not a rumour just a Question as i've never actually read in to it before. With a Testimonial Game like Atkins game today, what kind of money does he get? Is it a percentage of ticket sales or all of it or what? Sorry if it's a stupid question but i genuinely have no idea?

it's all the ticket revenue after match day costs have been deducted. Don't underestimate how much it costs to stage a match, though, it's a significant cost.

As far as I know he gets all ticket sale revenue, whether the club take off operating costs or not I'm not sure - I guess that would change club by club. The game plus all events through the year are tax free to the value of £50k I think
