I have heard Partington is more than happy at Salford and will only leave if asked to in order to help their financial situation.
Salford want more than a player swap and would prefer a transfer fee to be paid for them to let him go. The ball is in Warrington’s court and they need to make a substantial offer so it will all depend on whether Burgess wants him and we are prepared to pay.

Now that Andy Ackers has left them, they need a replacement No. 9.

A player exchange with Dwyer going to Salford and Partington to Wire would enable us to unload Dwyer and sign Partington

Maybe sugarcoat the deal with a modest fee for Partington.

So if he does come that will be both him and king in our squad who would rather not be here.
