He has the skill and the enthusiasm to be a very good player for us.From what I have heard him say he is also very happy to be at the club.Obviously not scored a try yet but I am sure that will come soon and as has been stated before he contributing to the team in other ways.
I am a bit concerned that this is the second thread knocking Atkins in the past few weeks.Hope he is not being lined up as the new boo boy.Lets give the team time to settle down and get into their groove. Not overly worried about any player at the moment

And we wonder why fans of other clubs have the opinion that Warrington fans are idiots.

16 tries scored in 2 games,3 conceded. A points difference of +70. I dreamed of a start like this.

Instead we get posts started saying that a player who is just settling into a new club is underperforming. I'm all for people being able to freely state their opinions on these forums but give us a break Brucey. Try a bit of positivity instead, I dread to think what your posts would have been like if youd been posting at the beginning of last season.

your spot on! no wonder we get a bad name, after one and a half games give the lad time to adjust new club and all that jeez. but when the lad does score his first try he will bag a hatful. watch this space...

On his form this season, you can add Chris Hicks to the list of underperforming three-quarters too.

2 games in and already people are expecting miracles. Atkins has looked sharp and is not afraid to get stuck in. Played 2 won 2 - No errors from Atkins and already people want a world beater. No pleasing some people.

Don't forget he was injured in the first tackle of the first game & sat out the entire 2nd half, don't reckon he was fully fit last saturday

Sorry chaps but i was expecting a little bit more from a signing made for some considerable cash.

Myler has given a very good account of himself already so whats up with Ryan doing the same?

Im sure he will get better but i would have liked to see more from him to be honest...solid but unspectacular springs to mind.

Myler is a half back and as such has far more involvement than a centre so should stand out more. This is a team game and just as we don't expect our props to play like half-backs we shouldn't expect our centres to either. In fact I would be extremely worried if he was running around like Myler - it would mean that he was constantly out of position and not doing his job!

i wasn't the biggest fan of us signing atkins. so far he has done nothing wrong though, and smith sems to think thathe will make a better impact than king at Centre, which is saying something. no,he's not yet set the world on fire, but he has more than done enough to justify his spot, and he does look like he will be a good, solid signing. Dodgy hair do though.....

From my POV (on seeing the cas game) Atkins made considerable yards when you were near your own try-line perhaps more than your others in your back line. He hardly got the ball in attack.
But... don't be expecting miracle passes, offloads or anything like that, give him the ball 5 metre's out and he'll more often than not find his way to the line.

Good luck this year, seems as though you've had a great start.
