Sorry mate. I'll be going from Barcelona Airport. Got some rough directions off the internet but any help will be much appreciated

the nearest underground stop is paral.lel. the metro in barcelona is really easy to use. you can get a train from the airport to the centre of bcn, probably plaça catalunya and then the metro to paral.lel.
you're not far from la rambla or the port. plenty to see and do there. looks like you've chosen well

paral.lel is on line 3 of the metro (green line on maps). you can catch it from plaça de catalunya in the centre of the city to your street near enough.

I got chatting to a Catalan fan from near andorra last year in the run up to the match on here and was going to meet for a pint but then didn't have thewebtweb with me, I forgot who you are so if you still want that drink PM me.

Hello All.

Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere else in this thread but be aware that we had lots of problems with Ryanair last week flying to Girona.

If you've booked with them, make sure you follow the online booking instructions and print our your boarding passes. Also make sure that you have purchased luggage transfers if your bags are going into the hold.

They were being swines at Liverpool. Almost the entire flight were charged extra for baggage or not having boarding passes. They were making sure that anybag classed as hand luggage was able to fit into the container they use and weighed less than 10kg.

Never going to fly with them again.

I'm staying there as well.

Thanks for the info. I noticed the metro is just across the road so makes it that bit easier to find and yes i read la rambla is only a 10 mins walk away which is handy
