I liked the Warrington Guardian's cheeky dig. 'Wardle 4 tries in 6 games, King 1 in 8'. One is playing for a struggling side, the other at the top end of the table.
King will be playing on his natural side on the right with Wardle playing on the left I would expect.
Both criticised by their parent clubs fans when moved to the opposite sides from their natural position on the other sides of the pitch.
You don’t go from being a very good prospect like King was to having a dip in form like he did in 21.
Most seem to go with the easy option that this was down to his new contract, I’m more inclined to believe it is due to him being switched sides away from the right.
Most Wigan fans had identified the centre position as the biggest issue within the squad.
I thought that we would need 2 off seasons to resolve that however it seems we may have done it in 1.
