It sounds as though we're looking to the NRL for our tough no nonsense prop enforcer for next season. Personally I'd be looking at players like Partington at Wigan and Ashworth and Knowles at Stains. With our lack of ability to produce young players like these who are only going to get better who are probably only being paid 30-40k we should offer 60-70k and see if they'll jump ship rather than blowing 100k plus on some aging Aussie. We're crying out for players who have a bit of arrogance and toughness about them which the above young players have....sadly our current pack is lacking this!

Our track record for recruiting overseas props of late is hardly stellar, and for that reason alone I'm not holding out much hope. All our best props of the last ten years have been British.

When Ashton Sims is the best of the recent overseas bunch you know the bar is embarrassingly low.

Exactly can’t see any top rated prop coming over till he is at on pension age.
