If you hadn't edited your original post you would be able to see quite clearly why I did it.

Originaly you wrote;

The Yellow Giraffe wrote:
Both horrible people but absolutely brilliant players

You then changed it to;

The Yellow Giraffe wrote:
Both horrible people on the field but absolutely brilliant players.

You changed it AFTER I took exception to what you had said about Super Ben. So you obviously do know why I chose to insult you. Far from 'never knowing' you knew all along.

Why am I having to explain this to the person that wrote it?

Westwood was outstanding yesterday, as he has been for quite some time. He really impressed me in last years 4 Nations, where he was certainly one of Englands best players, and seems to have improved again this year.

That's what I'd go with.

It's a shame a Mr L Briers doesn't fancy pulling a white jersey on really. I'd switch Ellis and O' Loughlin around in that side but you're more or less there.

I'm not going to get into an argument over this. It is silly. Perhaps I chose the wrong words, or missed a few words out, to put my point across properly. You have pounced on it like a dog with a bone. Chill out pal!

Hock needs to learn to channel his aggression in a different way , rather than turn into a thug he needs to use that aggression into his play within the rules ! Westwood has changed his play in a similar way since smith came in , he was a penalty machine before that Hock could learn from this !
I do wonder though if Hock has the brain power to do this !

I would argue that Hock has channelled his aggression well this year. He was bound to be targeted by teams trying to wind him up and I've lost count of the number of times the Hock of several years ago would start throwing punches or done something equally as stupid.

This season he's missed just two games after picking up the ban against Saints and that was for throwing a few punches in a derby game (which should be mandatory).

A bit of handbags with Westwood is no worry at all. What's impressed me is that in two big games that the team has been pretty appalling Hock has actually played well. Against Leeds he was one of the few good players in the Wigan team and it was the same yesterday. He was guilty of a mis-read for one of the tries but that can happen with him. It's no worse than Westwood's poor defence when Hock scored his try and that didn't sully Westwood's excellent performance.

On balance they are both the two best back row forwards in the competition.

Not alot there I could disagree with really. Chris Hill is looking more and more like a top class prop every time I see him. I think Gareth Widdop would have to be in there instead of Maguire though and possibly Ratchford over Burrow for utility value on the bench.

by hock's standards, he had a poop game yesterday, i can't recall him getting a single offload away.

We completely nullified his effect.
