Blimey it's a few years since I have been to Featherstone.
The first time we ever went there we drove right through the place whilst looking for the ground, a fact we only realised when we passed the 'You are now leaving Featherstone-Drive Safely' sign!

Last time I went to Post Office Road Mike Nicholas got sent off in the first minute for attempted murder on Jimmy Thompson!! On his way from the field he waved to the Warrington crowd and after being loudly cheered and applauded stopped and bowed!!................Those were the days!!

There was trouble in the crowd until the coach from the Old Ball arrived just before half time and sorted it!!

It was foggy and rainy and if I remember rightly we won about 12-0

It was an early kick off as they didn't have floodlights in those days!!
