I'm not an apologist for the Club and I usually get your posts whilst not always in agreement but this is codswallop.

Not correct.
Wire offered more money than Saints and a deal that has him playing and mentoring the young no.9s as a coaching role.
He saw himself as a no9 not a no14 and flat turned it down and approached Rushy and offered himself.
Rushy said Clark wasn’t even on their radar even though they were desperate for a 9, he never thought he’d leave Warrington.
Rushy told him they can’t match Warrington’s current deal.
That came straight from Rushys mouth at the Coldplay concert.
