We can only hope that the swap of Clark for Dwyer is going to create cap space for some stellar signings for 2024.

Yeah i can't see Dwyer being on even half of what Clark is on, so we'll have 60% of Clarks wage (Guestimate). All of What Mikaele was on and the bit we still had spare. So that should allow 1-2 more possible players on top of Dwyer.
Or just 1 superb one.
BUT if King IS coming back he'll take a fair chunk of that of our free Salary cap space. So maybe just the forward we need, Tanginoa for me would be ideal as he can cover second row and Prop if needed. Also i might have missed it but has Currie re-signed yet or are we still in negotiations with us?

I hear currie is going to sign a contract, but on reduced terms. If matautia retires(as the rumours are suggesting)then we should have plenty of cap space for some very good signings. We should be doing our best to get Lafai from Salford. Dufty, thewlis, wrench, Lafai and Ashton is a class back 5.

Ahhhh yeah i forgot Mata'utia might be retiring, so yeah another 2 possible players coming in with Dwyer.

It`s just my opinion, based on the effect on our Salary Cap that King`s return would cause.

There are teams on the other side of the Pennines that would take him on a loan basis, there is no need to strike a deal with King and Wigan.
