It was just a throwaway comment about his fantasy league team. Why be so precious? Jeez.

Featherstone v Wakefield in the Challenge Cup just kicked off on the Sportsman Channel (YouTube) if anyone fancies it.

This looks like a mid-Winter Regal Trophy game from the 90s. A dark muddy afternoon game on TV. All that's missing is some Ray French cliches.

In what world is it disrespectful? Peet sees it as a good game to bring them in amongst the other young guns brought in. You don't have to win every game and we may be able to do it whilst resting players and giving the next generation valuable super league experience. It's how we manage to be consistently challenging at the top table. Maybe clubs like Warrington should take note.

I do not see this as disrespectful also. Peet clearly planning for the future and this is an ideal opponent in which to blood juniors. Don’t forget he lost Nicholson to us by not doing this so is clearly learning. To address your final point Warrington and in particular Burgess are well aware that youngsters are the way forward. In the past Ratchford instead of only playing once would have probably only missed one. This is a long term plan and patience and understanding needed not only by Wire fans but it seems others as well

Juniors? Wasn't one of the halves Ryan Hampshire? Matty Peet has every right to pick whatever team he feels will best serve his ultimate aim of winning the Grand Final.

Wow tongue was very firmly in cheek but it seems like I hit a nerve.

Some interesting responses intrigued by CW feeling that he doesn't want his team to win every game. I want Warrington to put a team out capable of winning every game and believing they can win every game.

On the one hand I'm not that one eyed that I cant appreciate the skills of the Wigun team and even have a respect for Peet the video gesture to Roby was a nice touch to their closest rivals.

On the other hand I'm not a fan of Wiguns professional (sarcasm) approach the constant lying on, offsides. Farrell could give a uni course on the dark arts of Rugby league.

For the record I would probably make a similar sarcastic comment if Sam decides to rest George for our trip to the capital and the fantasy team did alright without Bevan French.

Let's just get back to something both Wigun and Wires can agree on Jai Field is back in his rightful place looking like a poundshop version of Matt Dufty.

Wigan’s continual preference to play Isa and Farrell means they keep losing out on talented backrow forwards.
So we pick up Nicholson and now Wood.
Then we hear Peat attacking Warrington for underhand approachment.
Victims of their own success.

Warrington seem to have started doing the right thing, giving Wrench a go, Hayes, Lindop etc Backrower (Holroyd?)

Previously Ratchford, Russell, Dwyer etc would have been shoehorned in as opposed to giving the young lads a chance.

Great to see and rewards should come if you stick with it.
