Sides switched at the request of SKY tv apparently. Not everyone is happy, but "the club" are treating this as year zero when it comes to gates, so I would expect a figure of around 3,727 (average for wire games at Quins version 2).
There is a lot of work being done behind the scenes at the club and this year may see an overall drop in gates, but with the foundations being laid for growth over the following 2 seasons with the magic 5,000 average being hit by the next time licenses are awarded.
The wigan gate last year, whilst nice, had more to do with a massive away following and a fair few kids being "invited". The gates this year will be bolted on TRUE and therefore give the club an idea of the massive job ahead.
I believe your initial allocation has sold well and we look forward to having a few beers with those that do make it down.
