They're too seperate things, you have to want to learn, that's attitude - agreed. In order to learn, you have to have good people to learn off, I'm pretty certain that Richie would be the first to cite Hodgson as having a huge influence on his career, in many facets, actually skills, reading a game, how & when to influence, game reading etc etc etc etc ..
