paul,i stated a few weeks ago on the waterhouse thread that we wouldn't be making any signings at that time because that's what i was told,we have ratchford but with kings departure confirmed tony smith will probably use the cap/salary space to bolster the squad,i hope we do sign waterhouse but i'd rather have gareth ellis.

Until Matt says the word himself he's still at Warrington. Souths wasn't his preferred option and maybe Mr Creosote (Shane Richardson) has jumped the gun. I never expected him to stay beyond this season, and for a good part of the season we've done well without him. His replacement was signed a year early due to an indiscretion in Aus, and let's face it, if Matt and Louis go, together with the possible departures of Jon Clarke, Mitchell, and McCarthy, we could have quite a bit of Salary Cap to spare.
