Surely not?
I think I'd be quite happy with that to be honest, both were winners as players and that mindset seems to be missing from a lot of ours. If they can change the mindset, Sam can get the aggression in attack and defence and Sean long can teach our halves how to kick and cause the opposition problems based on what the see rather than kick high to the corner, that should be enough to see a significant improvement.
Both have a lot to prove, it could be sink or swim for both and the same goes for the a lot of our playing squad. Sure a lot could go wrong, but that would be the case no matter who we appoint.
I do still firmly believe in the playing roster we have, we just need someone to get them to believe in themselves and each other again. I see no reason why this group can't compete in every match and win most of them, they need to believe that themselves. We don't have a lot of time to sort ourselves out but I see the rest of this season as a free hit with no real pressure or expectation at having a real go at Winning the grand final. Only Wigan and catalans look like they're really gearing up for the business end at the moment.
