So you can go through your own players legs to score, surely that is a penalty lmao.

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

That decision as finally confirmed for me our Referee’s are an absolute joke, the ref on field is right in front of the player and sends it up as a no try, he is a foot away from the play. The video ref as to go with the live decision. I have said it before this try no try as to go it’s just not right, the Newman try should of been a penalty to Wigan. The NRL don’t have this nonsense.

I recall us having a try disallowed at Wembley versus Stains, when Lineham brushed past and made slight contact with another Wire player.

There is no way that was a try by Newman.

100% right I remember that, but why I’m so annoyed is the video ref who had a lot of looks at the Newman try you actually hear him say it was sent up as a try so he gave it, unbelievable (Geoff) a decision sent to the bunker in NRL the decision is theirs. Even Sky commentary were stunned by the decision and clearly the RFL should know this needs to change. The 2nd try that was sent up as no try there was no definitive picture to say his hand was on the ball and so was disallowed, rather we just went back to benefit of the doubt.

or just stop all this I've got a try or no try from the refs.just hand it upstairs and let them in the box look at it..simple really..why do they have to over complicate things

What I've worked out with Generation Z referees is that they would benefit from a Google Search function in the video ref booth. I understand it's hard to memorise the rule book these days, so they could just type "Can a player score through their own players legs?" into their iphone and Wikipedia could give them a (mostly) accurate answer.

Or they could make a PA announcement "is there a referee in stadium tonight?"
