I mentioned on another thread that we seem to fail when considering the character of players, looks like I should have added “and coaches”.

No just genuinely concerned that we may have really got this wrong assuming (and it is a very big assumption) that it comes to pass.

Think there are many with same concerns. None of us have a clue if we think this can work, my only hope is it doesn’t take as long as it did to find out that Powell did not work

Well yeah, remember that time we wanted Matt Orford to replace Nat Wood. He decided to stay in Manly.

We had a back up plan, Michael Monaghan, and he decided to stay in Manly at that time as well.

So we were cashed up but needed to grab somebody so ended up throwing the cash at Michael Sullivan.

I still think that bringing in Sullivan to replace Nat Wood was the moment everything started to slide downhill for Cullen.
