They have had another closed doors heart to heart and we will see the output on Sunday.
If he really thinks that only 5% want Smith and Agar out he is mistaken.

I would be interested were he gets his numbers from, if he looks on this forum i think he will see its more than 5%.

To be fair, he does say that he thinks 95% will be behind us regardless, not that 95% of people want Smith to stay, and hes probably right. We have all pretty much agreed that the men on the pitch can deliver, but they currently aren't, all of us are behind the team but want desire and motivation from the team, not the lacklustre performances that have recently been served up.

If he were asked directly what percentage of fans he thinks wants Smith to go, i'm positive his answer would be more than 5%.

Why SHOULD 95% of us be "behind [the club m] regardless"? It is a business in the entertainment industry, not the Worker's Party of Korea!

Exactly. I'm getting fed up with the limited range of new films on offer on amazon prime so I'm going to switch over to netflix.

I'm already in the market for a new supplier of my rugby league entertainment. Was thinking of signing up with Cas but now the ambition shown by Saints in bringing in Justin Holbrook and Ben Barba is nudging me that way.

:-) I think the worry for Warrington is not fans swapping allegiances but just stopping going to games.

It's times like these. ..support of the club is needed more than ever.
Staying away because form slips is petty...without enduring the lows, you can never really appreciate the highs.
Somehow I don't think anything can eclipse that win over Hudds at Wembley....although a win against the Pies at Wembley one day would right a few wrongs...and a 1/4 final win against them currently, with a 40 metre drop goal might just top it.

And herein lies the peculiar dilemna of the 'sports brand'. The core supporter of any club is never going to switch allegiance (and therefore his financial input) permanently to a rival (unless, perhaps, he /she moves a great distance away). All that's left is to 'input less' by non-attendance at matches, no visits to the club shop etc. Success brings 'fringe supporters', vital for the club to make progress. Some of these become 'core' (thus, unscientifically but based on gates and season ticket sales) the 5k or so we had at Wilderspool is now probably 7.5k) but others will not hang around enduring the pain, disappointment and sometimes humiliation of poor play and defeat after defeat. We risk losing these folks and returning to gates of 8-9k or even less unless we turn it around.
