As has been said, his mere presence will have a galvanising effect on the squad. I would imagine that he has no specific allegiance to any player so they all know that their place on the Warrington Wolves 'gravy train' is in jeapardy.
I don't for one second believe the "Jimmy Lowes is in complete control this weekend" line. He is now the boss, he is now responsible and accountable. I have no doubt that Jimmy will have a major input, but the ultimate decisions will be Smiths. For example, if he wants an impact hooker, then I have no doubt that we will play with an impact hooker.
