Becases based on the previous 3 season this being the third last season we over achieved and it glossed over how poor we really were with the old saying champions win when playing poorly keeping many happy whilst now we're not winning it's glaringly obvious how much we have regressed since 2012 under smith. I'm a little worried at how slow the club are reacting to this as in my eyes he should have gone the season before last or even at the end of last season on a relative high in winning the lls

It's a shame if his time here is to end like this but we cannot keep faith in someone who seems oblivious to the issues or unable to change our fortunes around. Sometimes just a change is enough and it could be what the team need to get their heads backbinnthe game but I also think that whichever players are the root cause of this need to go also no matter who they are we cannot allow players to feel that can just stop playing if they don't agree with something or someone. I was hoping his departure would be soon but under the clubs timing and with a successor already In place but now I just feel he has to go we're in a results based business and ours have been woefull this year !!!

He's not going anywhere and our CEO is not going to sack him. Suggest either partake in direct fan protest or not watch them until him and Agar are gone. It's futile doing anything else.

Indeed. Pre-2003, we were a poop team because we were a poop club and expected the occasional flirt with relegation. And a run like this would almost certainly result in a change of management.

However, there's so much sentimentality over Smith for what he achieved 2009-2013 (which he deserves lots of credit for), but it's now holding us back and there's a good chance we'll lose our status as the only team never to have left the top flight.

If we don't act now we'll regret it by the 80th minute of the MPG.

I'm thankful for all the wonderful memories, but it's time to let it go and try to rescue what's left of the season. At this stage I'll take 8th and an early exit out of the cup on the 17th if it's on offer.

The reason we'll never be a big club....we're slow to react, we settle and we're not the least bit ruthless. In what shouldve been our golden era (and still should be) we've won 3cc and NOT won the title and somehow 3cc wins grants you enough time to finally relegate the club. What went before (35 years of mostly rubbish) doesnt mean NEARLY winning the title in this era is great work....it isn't. Grow some knackers Warrington and stop this constant need to be a laughing stock.

Said it before the way this is going we'll be lucky to make the million pound game. Need to finish 9th or 10th for 4 home games in the middle 8s and to do that we'll need to beat Cats, Leigh and Widnes at home and would anybody on here guarantee that at present

You won't be going again then, a patsy as a CEO is never going to sack him so unless Moran does he's going nowhere as he's far too far up his own arris to have the dignity to resign and take his squash buddy with him.

The alarm bells should've been ringing as soon as Fitzpatrick was installed, smacked of a club that has no clue what it's doing, and that's the way the whole season has panned out
