We do know a good coach, one with a title winning pedigree who will give us every chance of success. So why would we want John Kear?

As for laughing stock, that ended today with the appointment of Tony Smith. I guarantee we will finish above Wakefield this season.

You should really be worrying about staying in Super League the next time the franchaises are up for renewal.

1: Smith took over a team already on the up, there is no guarantee he will repeat that at Warrington. Take note of his world cup exploits.

2: Do you really believe a part time Tony Smith is the answer, again you're falling for a reputation.

3: If you think you will finish above us fine it's all about opinions.

4: What has the franchise got to do with it.

The thing with Warrington is that you still think you are a big club. The thing you dont get is that Kear, I and all the Wakefield team and supporters think that we are a far superior team to you. Project Kear at Belle Vue is progressing nicely. You are a shower, bog eyes and oz (flexitime). I will happily take your money on who is the best team over the season. We are - well coached, well drilled, well disciplined and physicaly and mentaly superior you and the majority of other Super League teams. Get with the real world my firend and look at the times weve beat you in recent meetings.

What sort of money are you offering? I'll take a bet on who finishes higher in the regular season, Wire or Wakefield...

1. Obviously there is no guarantees with anything, but I reckon the squad we have now compares favourably with the Leeds team Smith took over, just needs some serious direction. Plus we have some good young players, and our youth development sorted with Bastion in charge of that area. International RL is different altogether, he is proven at club level.

2. When have I fallen for a reputation in the past? Please explain.

3. Fair point.

4. Just responding to a Wakefield fan mocking our club, by suggesting that Trinity may struggle to get a franchaise next time around.

Nothing like confidence, and that is nothing like confidence.

I think Smith is a good appointment, as he will have the respect of the players, and if he is tough with them, he might get the most out of them. Unfortunately, I get the impression that to put things right, he has to deal with the players off the pitch as well as on.

 You speak English?

I reckon you'd get a lot of takers on betfair for what you're offering.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Hold up! You have a monster head start. It should be weighted in our favour.
