As for laughing stock, that ended today with the appointment of Tony Smith. I guarantee we will finish above Wakefield this season.

1: Smith took over a team already on the up, there is no guarantee he will repeat that at Warrington. Take note of his world cup exploits.

The thing with Warrington is that you still think you are a big club. The thing you dont get is that Kear, I and all the Wakefield team and supporters think that we are a far superior team to you. 1. Obviously there is no guarantees with anything, but I reckon the squad we have now compares favourably with the Leeds team Smith took over, just needs some serious direction. Plus we have some good young players, and our youth development sorted with Bastion in charge of that area. International RL is different altogether, he is proven at club level.

4. Just responding to a Wakefield fan mocking our club, by suggesting that Trinity may struggle to get a franchaise next time around.

I think Smith is a good appointment, as he will have the respect of the players, and if he is tough with them, he might get the most out of them. Unfortunately, I get the impression that to put things right, he has to deal with the players off the pitch as well as on.
