i honestly thought he was going to give a crap answer to that, seemed like he was dilly dallying rather than just saying "yes" then he made that bold statement. as said elsewhere, this should be the starting point that fizzled out from 2004 now.

Yes, it was positive answer from him, he actually came across alright. I suppose we will have to wait and see what players Smith doesn't see eye to eye with and whether the board will back him if he chooses to release any high profile players.
