If the BBC are screening both games, then it depends what slot they want the showpiece game in, which is obviously Leeds V Saints. If they want to make a big deal out of the Friday night fixture then that one will be it. If they expect more viewers on a Saturday afternoon and are already planning to stick the Friday game on BBC3 or whatever, then we'll play on Friday.
Either way, it will be decided by the demands of the broadcaster, not by the RFL or the request of Hull KR. Money talks innit.
I'm not happy anyway. 9pm finish at work that Friday and already confirmed I can't get holiday, so even if it's played at Wythenshawe Town FC I'll still miss the first half and first five minutes of the second half, unless I can get a swap. Unsurprisingly there doesn't tend to be a queue of people desperate to do late shifts on Friday nights though, so that's far from a formality.
