Wheeler playing, Asotasi still doing his 15 minutes a week, an unsettled dressing room, Penny being ignored...........the one common factor here is Smith. He is not a coach, he says as much himself with his "unstructured attack" and "letting the players play it as they see it" comments.

I know that I will be shot down in flames, but I think it's time for him to go - if he can't even get the team fired up for a CCSF then we're done for. I said to my wife when he was on BBC before the match yesterday that if I was a fan of any other team then I would really not like Smith, he just comes across as very arrogant and smug, and therein lies the problem. I think that Moran should have a word and voice his concerns, after all, he's a fan like us and must be as frustrated as we are with some of the selections (and non-selections) that Smith makes.

For me I'm afraid it's time for Smith to go

Agreed when wire had a good side a few years ago he brought the best out of the players with his man management skills, the last couple of seasons with loosing quality players and poor recruitment he's had to earn his corn which imo he's come up short with his team selections the club really needs a freshen up in the coaching dept it's turned stale at the moment some fresh faces n ideas needed.

Am I the only one who thinks there's still potential in England? Big unit, got a bit of a nasty streak. Punches below his weight I think and seems to miss a fair few games but I still think he can get it together.

I'm a big fan, but losing a bit of patience with him. He's had a second chance at sl, I hope he doesn't waste it.

Tony Smiths biggest season ever next year. .. if we don't get to one final he will be gone.

I don't doubt for one minute he will be told by moran and draper that the significant outlay in spending must be returned with some form of success.

We can not and will not watch this poop for another season.

At the moment the only reason I shall continue to watch this abysmal half arsed half hearted skill - less spineless shower of poop that couldn't get to a Final by having to beat dewsbury Leigh and Hull KR ...is because Chris Sandow will be playing. ......

Oh and after almost forty years of watching similar showers of poop ....I don't know any better. ....

Still vexed off. ....

The fact that my support for Tony smith is wavering ,shows we have a problem here , one more season like this and it's goodbye , bloody interviews annoy me ,no passion and talks as if team performance is nothing to do with him

No lack of effort yesterday but when we didn't pull into a lead after twenty minutes you could see the team starting to doubt themselves.

Fragile confidence.

Yep , the confidence thing is a problem for the wire ,I don't think we're used to being favourites ,so many years of being the underdog , develops a certain mentality . When you watch Leeds ,saints or Wigan you can see they expect to win and have belief in themselves even when it's going against them. No coincidence that our best games have been when we were odds on to lose

Ratchford seems to be a jack of all trades but master of none...At best he's a broken field runner. To me Myler is better value teamwise, perhaps Ratchford should have gone.

I've never been ratchfords biggest fan for that very reason. Someone put it to me yesterday that we should swap him with charnley...sounded ridiculous at first but now I think it's a good idea
