I'd be surprised if we'd be anything but leverage for Williams' agent. He only counts for £75k on the cap at Wigan, which is where I expect him to sign for.

Agreed I think I would overall have Williams over Trueman, both exceptional talents but I think Williams just has the edge of more of a complete player at the moment. Although, I can only see Williams going to Wigan unfortunately! |

Austin all ready holds a marquee spot and it’s looks like he will not be here next year, so the options are pay him off and let him go home now and then bring Williams in, yes he is going to be expensive no doubt but players of his ability are not around that often and we should go full out to get him, only reason it won’t happen it won’t be because Wigan offer more money it will just be the fact that he wants to go back their.

If you pay a player off he will still count on the cap, the only way you can remove them from the cap is to transfer them to another club.
So an option would be to offer one of our marquee players to Leigh - should they be interested , who apparently have the money and cap space. |

Obviously GW would prefer to come back to Wigan but with Widdop and Austin likely off at the end of the year and your financial power you could blow our offer out of the water.
Like some have said GW is leagues ahead of Truman. Worth breaking the bank over.
