Good result today and that what really mattered, thought we might get it today with the players Hull had out but still have to perform and that's been lacking so happy.

I was surprised that Swift had the beating of Thewlis for his try and know how difficult it is to chase back but just surprised me a little.
Good display from Dufty and we saw Williams when a pack is dominant at his best, some good defence and hopefully the confidence will help us in the run in and help us lower our error count.
Our next year's back up Hooker (Dwyer) trying to use his one trick worries me a little of what depth he will bring.
Also super happy they didn't have Josh Griffin in the team today that Magic Weekend still smarts.
So onward for Castleford next.

I noticed that regarding Thewlis. I thought he had more pace.

From the higlights, Dufty looked dangerous.

Great result, Wire.
Season ain't over yet

I like the optimism, but I think Wigan will win the GF and we'll be nowhere near it.

Phil Clarke will have kicked the dog when he saw Dufty's try and try-saving tackle.

Realistically, there was nothing on display to show that we could go on and win it. The main improvement was that there was a bit of desire, particularly to scramble in defence. But, caveat that with that the defence was breached often enough for that scramble to be necessary.

Still, conceded one try off our own error. Scored with some creativity. Still in our own hands if we make the 6. It’s something to cling on to, but it’s the hope that kills you with this club

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

I think you’re far too dismissive of being able to get it up even if it is only once.

Thewlis more or less had his back to Swift but he and Dufty together did enough to ensure the certain try wasn’t 6 points. Perhaps you missed that? Dwyer was probably the most liveliest player in the Hull team imo.
Hull were well beaten by Wire. Our pack floored them and Williams and Dufty shined.
I have to give credit to Richard Marshall. There is steel is in our defence that has been missing for a long time.

I've just seen the clips of the tries.

When did either side sign somebody called Forward?

The Hull fans kept shouting his name. Can't remember him being mentioned in the match day squads.

They signed him from St Helens at the end of last year. Saints signed his younger brother for the start of this season, hence the continued regular shouts of forward from Saints fans this season.
