Excellent performance. All to often I've seen Wires get decent leads then get dragged into scrappy, attritional battles but we kept our shape and intent nicely and played some really nice stuff.
Widdop brilliant again, Ratch and Austin very good lieutenants and plenty of quality on show from King, Mamo (Greg who?), Ben C and Walker.
Rested was the talk pre match at Salford. Good spelling of Hill and right decision to leave Clark on the bench. Walker probably played his best 80 min game. Lineham needed the game as I thought he might. Very shrewd from Price and played it right ahead of Cas next weekend. Widdop was sensational.
We looked sharp, and Widdop is a million times better than last season. Some well taken tries. Good stuff, Wire. One question remains. Who turned Salford into a dirty/niggly pooh House team. Getting a thrashing, then come high shots, and some "over enthusiastic" defence, late on. Pathetic

One of the worst SL team performances I've ever witnessed. Salford are continuing to enhance Ian Watson's reputation as a coach, even though it's been months since he left.
