Ironically, this was the very thing that happened at Leeds back in the day. Powell came in and shook things up, and the next coach polished the edges into something very good. Stranger things have happened

all players currently in the NRL, will have a high level of respect for Burgess.

That doesn't make him a good coach.. But it gives him an edge.

he is going to need more than a few games... look at how pathetic this team is.

Wow 12 months, I’m already in my 60’s not sure my heart will last that long after these past 2 seasons

*I’m quite enjoying being negative, if I’m right I can say “told you so” and if I’m wrong the team are doing well and I’m happy.
The real problem is though that Burgess has no pedigree in coaching so currently he is Schrodinger’s coach.

I think we will be good. It's only this season we need to.survive for relegation.
Next year will be a nothing year in terms of relegation as we move to the new licence system for 2025 don't we?

Unless your suggesting we don't have enough credits in the bank to be safe each year like saints. Wigan. Hull fc and Leeds. I think we are free from relegation for the forceable future unless something monumentally goes wrong in the grading system for us.
