That's because Salford is more like the sterotypical view of Liverpool, than Liverpool will ever be.

Never said that, but Salford and indeed Manchester always have worse crime figures than Liverpool.

I know, we've (rather I've) done this to death. Greater Manchester has more crime, Liverpool more benefit fraud, according to the stats. I know where I'd rather go for a night out.

The city where you are less likely to be victim of a crime?

I don't mind Manchester for a night out, but Liverpool has got something about it wins hands down everytime for me.
