Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.

knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

It's madness taking Monaghan away from 9 for such a big game. Then again, what do I know...

Monas at half back is a depressing thought.

Can I go on record as saying that this is a mental decision and that if Myler doesn't start/play we will definitely lose. Not saying he MUST play but I can't understand this decision if we've left out our best broken field runner.

*now if we lose at all, I look clever. If we win? Who cares, Back2Back wins.

first half against hull, monas was very reminiscent of 08 in his stint at half back. it was a bit worrying.

tbh, in response to robs point, i hadn't even took the move from monas into account, i was just worried about the loss of myler.

Although you could say Clarke at 9 and Mona's in the halves in the semi worked very well but then we had the chance to bring Myler on.

I wouldn't say he's your best broken field runner. Best support player yes, but not best broken field runner.

Probably fair comment but he can't half finish.

I think in a play-off style intensity game with Leeds - Smith has made the right call.

Not Myler's sort of game IMO, but then I don't watch him as often as you lot.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Re: Myler : Thu Aug 26, 2010 3:26 pm
If you compare Tomkins and Mylers stats, Mylers error and missed tackles are high, which is probably why Smith may leave him out.

This is what I said before though you leave him out on Saturday how can you make a case for him to play in the big playoff games?

But Myler creates and scores more combined......with ease.
